The State Department yesterday added seven countries, including four Arab allies, to its list of worst offenders in failing to suppress human trafficking and forced labor, which it called "a modern day form of slavery."

Wed, June 13, 2007 - 2:00 PMthanks for posting this. here i thought we (in israel) were the only slave traders in the middle east. we should be on that list too, i think aaron would say. the u.s. threatened us with that (and i don't think our gov't took much action after that either) in the last year but they're too tied to us to really go through with it. they should force israel to stop the forced prostitution of women brought here on false pretenses and then imprisoned. it's not as if we don't know where they are. the whorehouses are right near my office in tel aviv.
